Receive funding through Careerwise? Request help with your subjects or modules through Cape Town Tutors. Meet in person in Cape Town and surrounding areas, or online anywhere in South Africa. Funding approval and payment arrangements must be confirmed before booking.

Include your institution, subject or module name, course code where relevant, level of study and the topics you find difficult. A course outline or example question helps us check a suitable tutor match.

Check tutoring approval
Share the name of your award or funding programme and ask your programme contact whether it covers the tutoring you want. Tell us what has been approved and what authorisation is still needed.
Payment arrangements
Confirm payment before booking
Ask your programme contact how approved tutoring will be paid for, then confirm the arrangement with our team. Funding approval does not automatically confirm payment or reimbursement.
Lesson details
Agree when and where to meet
Share your available times and preferred lesson format. We check tutor availability separately from funding approval, then confirm the schedule and any in-person meeting and travel arrangements.

Is this a Careerwise application page?
No. This is a Cape Town Tutors page for students who already receive Careerwise support and want to enquire about tutoring. It does not enrol you in the programme or approve funding.
Does Careerwise funding automatically cover lessons?
Your programme must confirm whether the requested tutoring is approved. We also need to confirm payment arrangements and tutor availability before a booking can be agreed.
Can I pay Cape Town Tutors with Intellimali?
No. Cape Town Tutors does not have Intellimali payments set up. Ask us and your programme whether another arrangement is possible before booking or making a payment.
What if my approval or funds are still pending?
You can enquire and explain what is outstanding. We can discuss the learning need and next steps, but lesson bookings depend on confirmed approval, payment arrangements and tutor availability.
What should I include in the enquiry?
Share your institution, subject or module, level of study and current difficulties. Include the name of your specific award or funding programme. Choose Organisation when asked who will pay and enter Careerwise and your programme name in the organisation details. Include any assessment date and your available lesson times.
Which supporting documents will I need?
Our team will explain what is needed for your request. Have any tutoring approval and programme contact details ready. Do not enter payment card details in the enquiry form.
Can I meet a tutor in person?
Request in-person lessons and share your location in Cape Town or the surrounding service areas. We confirm the tutor match, meeting place and travel arrangements before booking.
Can I take lessons online outside Cape Town?
Yes. Online tutoring is available across South Africa. Tell us your preferred format so we can check availability and discuss it alongside your funding arrangements.
