Revision priorities

Choose what to revise first

Bring your exam scope, date and a recent marked test. Use them to identify the topics that need attention and agree what to work on in the time available.

Topic support

Understand the steps you’re missing

Ask about the concept or method you find difficult. Work through an example with your tutor, then try a similar question yourself.

Exam practice

Practise timed questions

Use questions suited to your syllabus or module. Try a timed section to practise choosing an approach, completing your answer and leaving time to check it.

Feedback

Learn from your answers

Review your working and the question instructions with your tutor. Discuss mistakes, missing explanations and what to practise before the next lesson.

Before you enquire

A few useful answers.

Which exams can I get help with?

Tell us your school subject or university or college module, curriculum and exam date. For NBT preparation, include the tests you plan to write. We check the content and level before confirming a suitable tutor.

What should I bring to revision lessons?

Bring your exam scope or course outline, relevant notes and any practice questions or marked work. Include feedback from your teacher or lecturer and point out the questions you find difficult.

When should I start preparing?

Enquire once you know what you need help with. Starting earlier leaves more time to work through gaps and practise between lessons. Share your exam date so we can discuss a realistic schedule.

Can I request help shortly before an exam?

Yes. Include the exam date, topics and times you can meet. We will check tutor availability and discuss what can be covered in the time remaining.

How do we decide what to revise?

Use your assessment scope, recent results and difficult questions as a starting point. Your tutor can help you choose priorities and suggest practice between lessons as you work through them.

Are lessons live?

Yes. You work with a tutor during the lesson, with time to ask questions and discuss your answers. Choose in-person or online support when you enquire.

Where can I meet a tutor in person?

In-person enquiries cover Cape Town and the surrounding service areas. Share your location so we can confirm a tutor match, meeting place and travel arrangements.

Can I prepare online from outside Cape Town?

Yes. Online tutoring is available across South Africa. Choose Online in the enquiry form, or Either if both formats work for you.
